Worms: Revolution Extreme Description
Another part of the popular series of turn-based strategies with the participation of small worms armed to the teeth. The title refers to the first games from the vermin cycle and, unlike several previous, three-dimensional Worms, it offers classic gameplay with a camera located on the side of the action site (as in 2D games). The game was developed by Team 17 studio.
Again, we are witnessing spectacular clashes between teams composed of militant worms. Like the previous titles in the series, the game is played in rounds. Players have a time limit to move their character and then perform an offensive action against the worms of a competitive team.
The developer has put at his disposal a substantial arsenal of means of extermination. Worms can use various types of firearms, rocket launchers and grenades, as well as cult grenades for fans of the Holy Hand Grenades or remote-controlled Super Sheep. In addition to this arsenal there are also useful tools - rope, parachute or burner. In Revolution there are several new types of weapons - such as telekinesis, water gun or Boggy-B.
A novelty in the cycle is the existence of physical objects - shells, screws, lighters - which we can move or destroy at our discretion. For the first time since 1995, worms have also been divided into classes with different strengths and appearance, including a scientist, a soldier, a guard and a scout. An addition is the presence of water, which is now not limited to the tank at the bottom of the map, but is also present on the boards themselves - it can be used to water down an enemy or wash them off the surface.
Worms: Revolution runs on a new graphical engine created especially for this game. The set designs, among which we are fighting, are three-dimensional, but the game itself takes place from the side. At the same time, the comic style, present in the penultimate title of the series - Reloaded, was abandoned. The game is only available in digital distribution.
The version prepared for PlayStation Vita has been enriched with a mode called Treasure Mode, which allows you to receive special gifts in case of merging the console with PlayStation 3. The creators prepared a single player campaign consisting of 47 missions and 25 puzzles.

Worms Series
Maintained in a humorous convention series of turn-based strategies with logical and arcade elements, in which the main roles are played by the title bugs. The brand is developed by the Team17 Digital development studio. The father of the series Worms is British game designer Andy Davidson. The first commercial installment of the series was released in 1994 for personal computers (Amiga, PC and Mac) and fifth-generation consoles (PlayStation, Mega Drive and SNES). The title was considered an extremely successful combination of Cannon Fodder z Lemmings, thanks to which it very quickly gained great popularity among gamers. The development team of the studio Team17 Digital almost immediately began work on add-ons and a full-fledged sequel. In total, over the course of almost 30 years, more than 18 games included in the mainstream series were released, as well as a number of spin-offs and re-releases. Including the series lived to see its own battle royale mode, golf or pinball.
