Frontline Attack: War over Europe is a real-time strategy developed by Reality Pump and In Images. It allows players to take part in the struggles of armoured and mechanized units, which took place during World War II between 1941 and 1944.

Frontline Attack - War Over Europe depicts the struggles of armored and mechanized units in a World War II scenario. All missions take place in Europe between 1941 and 1944. The game spans the German attack on the Soviet Union through to other important battles on the Eastern Front, operations in France and Italy to the German offensive in the Ardennes.

The game features Real Time Strategy and offers 3D scaled maps of battlefields. The scenery changes depending on the time of day, seasons and weather conditions that highly affects visibility. The unit’s mobility is reduced by roads hidden in rain or snow.

All landscape features and vehicles, infantry and buildings are true 3D objects. Campaigns and single missions are completed in different seasons reflected in changing scenery. An advanced easy-to-use scenario editor enables the player to create his own maps and battles.

A player has the possibility of choosing one of the three sides in the conflicts: the Germans, the Russians or the Allies. Two campaigns, i.e. a course of missions connected to the main goal, have been prepared for each of them.

Each campaign consists of four missions and is carried out within an unlimited time; vehicles at one's disposal are in accordance with historical reality. Apart from that, a player can choose from 10 single missions in the Skirmish mode. There are 3 difficulty levels in the game: Rookie, Soldier and Veteran. The main difference between the levels is the aggressiveness of the computer enemy, or occasionally the complexity of the mission objectives, the access (or lack of it) to weapons and ammunition or the amount of funds at the player's disposal. The player can set the difficulty level at the beginning of a campaign.
