World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic is the fourth expansion pack for the MMORPG World of Warcraft Classic. As the title suggests, it is a refreshed version of the expansion to the original WoW. World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria was first released in 2012.

Plot

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic takes us to the titular island, which was unexpectedly discovered at sea. The forces of the Alliance and the Horde come across it and establish their footholds on it, as well as make contact with the race of pandaren inhabiting it. We are talking about noble beings resembling humanoid pandas, having their own culture and philosophy. Their specialization is martial arts, and their torment - sinister creatures called Sha, which are manifestations of negative emotions that appeared in Pandaria as a result of long-term conflicts and tensions in the world of Azeroth.

New features in the expansion

The biggest novelty introduced in World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic are the titular island (which is divided into 5 zones) and the pandaren race. We can embody characters from the new race. In addition to the existing classes, we are given a completely new one - a monk. This class is devoid of automatic attack, fighting hand-to-hand and accumulating energy, which it then uses to perform more powerful moves. After reaching level 10, each pandaren must choose whether to side with the Alliance or the Horde.

Other new features introduced in the add-on include increasing the maximum character level to 90, changes in the talent system, expansion of the range of abilities for a given specialization, or removing the system of teachers (our character automatically learns new skills). In addition, the companion system has been rebuilt and we have the option of exchanging them, as well as to use them in turn-based battles.

The expansion also brings previously unavailable raids and dungeons (which we can go through with an active time limit), a PvP arena (Tol'vir Proving Grounds), as well as battlefields and modes (Payload and Murderball).

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic is not a standalone expansion, so it requires the base game World of Warcraft Classic.
