World of Mixed Martial Arts 5

World of Mixed Martial Arts 5 is the fifth installment in a series of sports manager games originating from 2007, in which we play as an MMA promoter. Like the rest of the series, it was developed by Grey Dog Software.

Mechanics

World of Mixed Martial Arts 5 puts us in the role of an MMA fight promoter. The player must scout for promising fighters all around the world, negotiate and sign contracts with them, with sponsors and other companies, organize shows and championships.

Money can be spent not only on developing our business, but also paying for increasingly better fighters, partners and training them. Each fighter has their own set of stats we can increase by proper training.

There's also a vast editor, in which we can modify existing game elements and create entirely new ones.

Game modes

World of Mixed Martial Arts 5 supports singleplayer and multiplayer for up to eight people.

Technical aspects

World of Mixed Martial Arts 5 mostly consists of various windows, stats and the interface. There's not really much to look at; suffice it to say, fights are portrayed through text descriptions.
