World of Mixed Martial Arts 4 is another part of the managerial series developed since 2007, in which we can try our hand as a promoter of MMA fights. The creator of the series is Grey Dog Software studio, which has also created twin series of games, dedicated to wrestling and basketball.
The formula of the game revolves around the extremely popular discipline of "mixed martial arts". (Mixed Martial Arts). The task of a player as a professional promoter is to sign profitable contracts with the best players and organize tournaments in such a way as to earn as much money as possible for their promotion. This is not all, however, because, as in any sport, we must also make sure that our players are properly remunerated and have the right conditions for training, which will translate into their satisfaction and high form.
As in other managerial games, the game is mainly based on a large number of statistics, rankings and analyses, thanks to which we can make the right decisions. There is also an extensive scouting network, which allows you to catch the most talented players from all over the world and recruit them to your team. Despite the fact that the visual layer of the Grey Dog studio game is only a supplement to our management activity, the creators created a quite realistic engine showing the course of individual battles, which looks definitely the best among all the scenes of the cycle.
World of Mixed Martial Arts 4 is based on a slightly modified engine of the third part of the series, but there were a lot of novelties. The most important is the ability to have fun at the same time with up to 8 players controlling MMAs from all over the world. The work of the database has also been optimized, which now works much faster even with a very large game world. The cherry on the cake is a functional editor, allowing players not only to modify the parameters of individual players, but also to change almost every element of the game.
