Wolfenstein Cyberpilot is an action game developed for PCs using virtual reality devices. The player takes on the role of a hacker who helps the Parisian resistance movement to fight the Nazis by breaking into German systems and taking control of their combat robots.
Wolfenstein Cyberpilot is an action game for PC, developed from the ground up with VR technology in mind. The project was developed by Machine Games studio.
Plot
The game takes place in an alternative version of the 1980s and it continues the plot points of Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The action is set two decades after the events of the second game. We play as a hacker whose task is to support the Parisian resistance movement in the fight against the occupying army of the Reich.
This time, the fight against the Nazis is more balanced than in previous editions. The German war machine is already weakened and the resistance is stronger than ever. However, this does not mean that expelling the Nazis from Paris will be easy.
Mechanics
Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, released on PC, is an action game. Our hacker is not suitable for direct confrontations, but he can bypass the security of German computer systems. He uses this skill to take control of Nazi machines such as the great metal beast known as Panzerhund.
After hacking, the player is free to control the machine and use it to exterminate the enemies and to carry out orders assigned to him by the command. All this in order to free the capital of France from the occupation, using the inventions of the Reich against it.
Technical aspects
Wolfenstein Cyberpilot was developed exclusively for VR technology. A virtual reality device is required.

DualShockers: 5 / 10 by Grant Huff
Even to die-hard fans, Wolfenstein Cyberpilot will likely be seen as a disappointment and a missed opportunity.
PlayStation LifeStyle: 4 / 10 by Chandler Wood
In theory, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot sounds like the ultimate culmination of ideas and technology.
COGconnected: 40 / 100 by Lou Sytsma
While there’s definitely promise in the concept of Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, the shiny visuals don’t make up for the lack of content and subpar execution. It’s a decent showpiece for the PSVR, but at this point in the platform’s lifecycle something with more meat is the expectation.
