Winnie Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood is an adventure game for younger players, which refers to Disney's well-known Pooh cartoons about Winnie Winnie Pooh. The player plays the role of an unidentified hero whose task is to find ten lost objects belonging to the inhabitants of the Stumile Forest.
The program is not excessively complicated, but it is also not trivially simple. The player must not only find the lost items, but also hand them over to the rightful owners, and this is not always so obvious. Luckily, not far from the main character's house lives Mr. Sowa, who will give you the necessary tips in case of problems.
As the main recipients of computer stories about Winnie the Pooh are children, Sierra programmers decided to modify the text interface and exclude typing the commands on their own. We observe the action of the game using static images, which are assigned text descriptions and actions available at a given moment. The user makes decisions by choosing any of the presented options. At any time, he can also return to the hut Krzysia and record the state of the game, which undoubtedly helps greatly in completing the adventure.
An unquestionable advantage of the game is the reference to cartoons with Winnie the Pooh in the lead role. So we will meet all the characters there, including the Tiger, Piglet, donkey, Rabbit, as well as the not very clumsy teddy bear. Simple, 16-colour graphics can be liked, especially as it faithfully reflects the reality of the cartoon.
