Winions: Champions of Mana is a strategy game published as a free-to-play title by Fuero Games, also known for creating The Witcher Battle Arena. This time developer cooperated with Nexon company, which released the game for PC, Android and iOS.

Game mechanics

Winions: Champions of Mana lets us play as greedy characters lusting for gold. Our only objective is to increase our fortune by robbing other players. This is the foundation of gameplay that mixes elements of strategy games from tower defense genre, card games and action-RPG titles. After choosing our anti-hero, we are thrown into the fray with our minions, creatures that are summoned with cards. We can also make use of spells etc.

The game’s main objective is to get through the opponent’s defenses and steal the treasure. Acquired gold can be spent to enhance our own base (building turrets, setting traps etc.), and as we play, we obtain new minions’ cards and even train a dragon. It starts as adorable and weak creature, but as we take care of it, it grows into a powerful beast that incarnates enemies during following raids.

As Winions: Champions of Mana has been created with mobile devices in mind, each session is relatively short, letting us play once or twice during the break in a work or a school.

Winions: Champions of Mana focuses on multiplayer matches. Developers provided us with options of playing with others, and we can also create clans or join existing ones, which will let us earn a fortune faster.
