Wind of Luck

Wind of Luck is a network PvP game for the PC, focusing on dynamic sea battles, in which typically pirate atmosphere prevails. The player, as the captain of the selected ship, leads his boat and its crew to the battle in team fights. Focusing more on action and effectivity than on faithful simulation, the title still offers considerable tactical depth, allowing you to sink your opponents in many different ways. Trazzy Entertaiment studio is responsible for the production.

Initially, the future captain chooses one of the several available boats, and with the resources and experience gained he gets access to a wider pool of boats. A total of three factions are available to the player - Asian ships, the fleet under the flag of the Mediterranean countries and those characteristic of the Caribbean Sea. Each of the sides has six levels of sophistication, the so-called tiers, each of which gives access to more powerful and more durable legs.

Having our own ship, we choose the right equipment for it (including several types of cannons and various ammunition), and then we set off for the battle. Marine battles take place in team configurations and last up to 15 minutes on average, although these lengths may vary depending on the selected modes, which the Wind of Luck offers a total of five. Among them we can find an attack on the port or, for example, escorting a convoy of merchant ships. After each game we receive fame points, experience and a special currency, which allows us to buy and repair a damaged deck.

Success in duels largely depends on the use of appropriate tactics and the use of their position in relation to the enemy ship - setting up in such a way that the rival could not target us with their guns often decides about the victory. Our crew also plays an equally important role - we give them orders on an ongoing basis, thanks to which, for example, we extinguish a fire that threatens us. It is worth bearing in mind that any damage suffered in the battle not only needs to be repaired later, but it also affects the performance of the ship, accordingly reducing its steering and maximum speed.

Wind of Luck offers players a nice and detailed graphic design and at first glance you can see that the creators tried to take advantage of all the possibilities offered by PC - realistic looking water, good physics system and excellent looking models of ships are among the many advantages of production. At the same time, it should be noted that other elements, such as distant land, have been treated with less care, so as not to overburden weaker computers.

The game is based on a free-to-play model with optional micropayments.
