Child of Light
RPG
April 29, 2014
Child of Light is a 2D RPG that combines the elements of modern platformers and Japanese role-playing games. It was developed by Ubisoft Montreal, a subsidiary of Ubisoft which also collaborated in the development of Far Cry and Assassin Creed games. Child of Light tells the story of Aurora, a young girl who has to save the kingdom of Lemuria. When playing, we influence Aurora's development and witness her rough journey to adulthood. The game is presented in a perspective typical for platform games, and the turn-based combat system is inspired by the jRPG genre. During her adventures, Aurora explores a vast, living world, where she encounters friendly fairies, gnomes, and sneaky monsters. Child of Light offers single player and multiplayer modes. In the latter, the second player takes on the role of a friendly firefly.
Citizens of Earth
RPG
January 20, 2015
A hilarious cRPG with cartoonish graphics, developed by an independent Canadian studio - Eden Industries. The player assumes the role of the world's vice-president. Having won the elections, the protagonist returns to their hometown and discovers that the neighbouring forests are filled with bizzare creatures that came into being as a result of mysterious genetic experiments. With help of the local community, the politician decides to discover who is behind all of this and tries to stop the madness. The player can recruit practically every character they encounter - among them, one will find bakers, teachers, homeless or waiters. Such characters will be gaining experience throughout the game, and once the player decides to exclude them from their team, they return to their posts in order to provide the player with better shops, as well as new, useful items. This system encourages the player to experiment and to regularly replace particular team-members, especially because the main story is relatively short.

October 30, 2014
The sequel to the colorful RPG released in 2010 by the legendary Tim Schafer and his Double Fine Productions studio. In the game we meet again the siblings known from the first part, Reynold and Wren, who during another Halloween night must face a new enemy, threatening the atmosphere of the holiday and the safety of playing children. Accompanied by friends, our heroes roam the three-dimensional locations, talking to encountered characters and participating in turn-based battles reminiscent of typical jRPG productions.
