Whisker Waters

Whisker Waters is a fishing-themed RPG, featuring whimsial, colorful 3D visuals. It was developed by an independent American studio Underbite Games, released on the PC, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

Mechanics

Whisker Waters is a third-person adventure game set in a partially-open world inhabited by friendly animals. We play as a cat, who we can personalize to our preferences - change its color or equip cosmetics, such as eyepatches, hats, outfits.

The player must explore various different lands, meeting other cats and animals. Many NPCs need our help, usually tied to fishing, both during main quests and side quests.

Fishing is the game's key mechanic. There are many different techniques to use and lots of equipment to wield. The fish vary in behavior and preferences, and so, we must learn them to succeed.
