Welcome to ParadiZe is an action adventure game with survival elements. It was developed by Eko Software and published by Nacon.
Plot
Welcome to ParadiZe is set in a postapocalyptic world overrun by zombies, in the titular land of ParadiZe. It was created by Jeff Tusk, an eccentric billionaire whose company - Tusk Industries - has created a hacker helmet, the Zombot, that allows its wearer to take control over zombies.
We play as one of the survivors living in ParadiZe. It's up to us whether we'll develop and defend our hideout or venture out into the world to uncover its secrets.
Mechanics
Welcome to ParadiZe makes use of the isometric perspective. ParadiZe is a vast realm, consisting of forests, valleys, deserts and snowy wastelands. We must be careful while traversing it, since danger awaits at every step. Aside from regular enemies, we'll also face much more powerful bosses, such as giant zombie elephants.
Combat is fast-paced, revolving around use of makeshift weapons. As we progress through the game, we gather resources we can use to craft better gear. We're not alone on our journey; thanks to the Zombot, we can get ourselves some brave, yet very stupid zombified bodyguards who'll defend us to the best of their abilities - though these leave much to be desired. We'll also meet other survivors within ParadiZe, many of them being quirky and belonging to various factions.
Our base of operations is our camp. Although at first it's not particularly impressive, we can expand it over time into a prosperous settlement. Since ParadiZe is an extremely dangerous place, we should take care of our camp's defenses whenever we have the chance to do so. Of course, we won't need to do it ourselves - forcefully employed zombies should be enough to do the job.
Game modes
Welcome to ParadiZe supports singleplayer, as well as local and online co-op.
Technical aspects
Welcome to ParadiZe features high-quality visuals. The diverse, detailed, atmospheric locations are especially appealing.
