Wartales: The Pits

Gameplay

For the purposes of Wartales: The Pits, five arenas have been prepared. In each pit we have to fight five specially prepared battles. Individual battles differ in terms of the types of enemies we must face, as well as the traps set for the warriors, the elements of the environment that threaten them, and the conditions that make combat difficult. The dangers include clouds of poisonous gas, spinning blades, lightning, fire, and even complete darkness.

All of this makes each skirmish a separate experience, for which one should properly prepare, applying the optimal tactic, as well as leading the correct team, equipped with the appropriate gear. And speaking of equipment - as we progress, we increase our reputation, which gives us access to new weapons, single-use items, and recipes.

In addition, the authors allow us to replay already completed battles at a higher difficulty level. Completing all the battles in both modes can grant us a special reward.

Game modes

Similar to the base version of the game, in Wartales: The Pits we can play alone or in cooperative mode over the Internet.

Technical aspects

Wartales: The Pits is not a standalone expansion, so it requires the base game Wartales.
