The Plot

The game takes place in the titular Staglands: a cold, harsh land inspired by the actual Bronze Age and medieval Transylvania. We take the role of a minor god Necholai, who descends to the Staglands on the day of winter solstice to take part in a festival organized in his honor. When he tries to come back, it turns out his way home was blocked and he is now stuck among his followers. The only people he can rely on are a group of untrustworthy acolytes and a fanatic priest. He must create a party that will aid him in surviving in this new, dangerous world and help him find answers to all his questions.
