Warhammer 40,000: Rites of War Description
The developers from SSI decided to use the success of Panzer General II and based a Warhammer 40,000 game on its engine. It tells the story of a conflict between the forces of Eldar, Imperium and Tyranids. The players get to choose the side they want to support. The action is divided into 24 missions tied together with a consistent storyline. There are 70 kinds of combat units to choose from. They can gain experience in battles and thus increase their abilities, while the players, as their commanders, will distribute so-called glory points that enhance the units’ parameters. The battlefields hide very helpful artifacts that can be found in cities and forts. The game also offers a multiplayer mode with special maps.
