Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon - Vulkan's Wrath

Vulkan’s Wrath is the title of the first big expansion to Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon which was developed by Slitherine by the end of 2014.

The expansion extends the story of the original game by describing the events that took place during the second war for planet Armageddon. In the key moment, 3 orders of Space Marines joined the fight to support the planet’s defenders weakened by the Orc attacks. Vulkan’s Wrath focuses mostly on the activities of Salamandra Order, offering a completely new epic campaign set during this massive war.

The expansion brings 10 new missions divided into 3 chapters: River Stygies, Tartarus and Huddled Masses. During these chapters, the players get to make use of all skills and special abilities of Salamandras while defending the innocent inhabitants of Armageddon planet from the cruel fate at the hands of the Rocs. The developers did not introduce any significant changes to the gameplay mechanics. Just like in the original game, we may participate solo or compete against our friends via the asynchronous PBEM++ system.
