Warden's Will Description
Inspired by the second installment of Risk of Rain and Roboquest, the independent Warden's Will is a third-person shooter with roguelike elements emphasizing dynamic movement of controlled characters. Set in space, the production marks the debut of Elyzio studio, composed of former AAA game developers.
Storyline
Exploring planets, the Guardians try to gain enough power to destroy the Forces of Evil before the destruction of the galaxy occurs. At the same time, they discover clues about what or who and why they were created.
Gameplay
In Warden's Will, you choose from four Guardians gifted with different movement abilities and wage a reflex-requiring battle against hostile robots. Including dodging, jumping, parkour, flying and somersaults in the air, we combine with acquired skills and diversified weapons with two firing modes. Weapons that can experience overheating include shotguns, laser rifles and black hole generators.
Levels in Warden's Will are randomly generated and death is permanent, meaning you have to start the game over afterwards. However, you don't lose your unlocked upgrades, which allows for continuous character development. As we expand our base, we improve our weapons and can add over a hundred upgrades to them.
We also have to defeat bosses, search for hidden treasures and avoid traps.
Coop
Warden's Will can be played alone or in online co-op mode with up to three players.
Engine and graphics
Warden's Will runs on the Unreal engine and features low-detail, cel-shading style graphics.
