Warden's Will

Inspired by the second installment of Risk of Rain and by Roboquest, Warden's Will is an independent third-person shooter with roguelike elements. Its gameplay emphasizes the dynamic movement of characters. The action is set in space and the game is a debut for the Elyzio studio, composed of former AAA game developers.

Story

The planet-exploring Guardians are trying to gain enough power to destroy the Forces of Evil before the galaxy is destroyed. At the same time, they discover clues about what or who and why created them.

Gameplay

In Warden's Will, we choose from four Guardians endowed with different movement abilities and engage in a reflex-demanding fights with hostile robots. We perform acrobatic moves, dodges, jumps, parkour, flying and somersaults in the air. Our character also uses acquired skills and diverse weapons with two shooting modes. The arsenal includes weapons like shotguns, laser rifles, and black hole generators. We must pay attention and avoid overheating it during combat.

The levels in Warden's Will are randomly generated, and death is permanent, which means we have to start the game over after we die. However, we do not lose the unlocked upgrades, which allows for continuous character development. In addition to expanding our base, we can improve our weaponry, being able to add over a hundred enhancements.

We also have to defeat bosses, search for hidden treasures, and avoid traps.

Co-op

In Warden's Will we can play alone or in online co-op mode with up to three people.

Engine and graphics

Warden's Will runs on the Unreal engine and is characterized by three-dimensional cel-shading style graphics with limited details.
