VFR Poland 3D Landmarks Description
VFR Poland 3D Landmarks is another extension to games from Microsoft Flight Simulator series produced by Simdesign company after VFR Poland NW. This time players have the opportunity to fly over the whole territory of Poland, which has been marked with the majority of authentic objects used in air navigation according to the rules of VFR (Visual Flight Rules).
The creators of the supplement used real flight plans compliant with AIP POLAND ENR 5.4 Amendment No 060, which allowed to reproduce characteristic elements of the terrain, including high buildings (e.g. skyscrapers) and structures (masts, chimneys, fuel tanks) with great accuracy. In total, the extension enriches the game with 366 terrestrial objects, which were generated with the use of GMAX technology, including night backlighting.
The advantage of the addition is also a set of special effects and animations, reflecting various weather conditions that can be encountered in the Polish sky (e.g. clouds of water vapour floating from chimneys).
VFR Poland 3D Landmarks extension is fully compatible with other additions to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and Microsoft Flight Simulator X produced by Simdesign studio.
