UEFA Euro 2012 Description
UEFA Euro 2012 is a sports game showing football matches in the European Championship 2012 tournament organized by Poland and Ukraine. The game was developed by EA Canada, the studio known from publishing new editions of the FIFA series every year. UEFA Euro 2012 is not a standalone title, though, but an add-on to FIFA 12. In order to experience the thrill of the tournament, it is necessary to have a copy of this title.
The developers packed the game with multiple game modes. In addition to the traditional tournament finals in which we assume the control over one of sixteen national teams participating in the championship, there is a new mode called Expedition, designed specifically for the UEFA Euro 2012 . It allows you to build your own national team, managing it and compete with other European national teams, of course. By winning consecutive matches, the player unlocks more teams (there are 53 of them), and thus opens the way to play next matches.
In UEFA Euro 2012, there is also the opportunity to play online. While playing in the finals, every fan of the sports games can choose his favorite national team, and then face the other national teams of European countries in the fight for the championship cup. In this mode the game resembles a classic tournament the most: it is divided into the group stage, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the finals.
UEFA Euro 2012 uses some elements of FIFA 12, for example the FIFA 12 Virtual Pro mode thanks to which you can create your own unique player who can join your team. Additionally, the constantly updated EA SPORTS Football Club content service and the special quests will enable any football lover to relive his favorite moments of the EURO 2012 tournament.
The developers mapped the backgrounds with a great attention to detail. Not only did they put in all real stadiums in UEFA Euro 2012, but also took care of the appropriate sound setting recorded during actual sport events.
