FIFA 11 Description
FIFA 11 is the next installment of a popular football game created since the 1990s by the Canadian EA Sports studio. In this edition the authors tried to eliminate the shortcomings of the predecessor (e.g. performed like a string of passes and too easy lobbies), as well as to put particular emphasis on the issue of players' development.
Therefore, the Personality Plus system was created to reflect the characteristics of players in their behavior on the pitch. This applies in particular to the problem of the translation of players' attributes into their ability to shoot accurately or to make precise passes. In this edition of FIF, the creators emphasized even more the difference in the quality of football stars (with over 90 points in the statistics) and the least talented diggers (30 points and less). A lot of attention was also paid to goalkeepers, who more realistically assess the trajectory of the ball's flight and can be confused with ricochet when shooting from a free kick.
Footballers in FIF 11 are also endowed with "working rate" points, which place their match hard work on the level of low, medium or high. This division makes some of the players more aggressive in reception and more often come back for the lost ball, while others are waiting passively for the action to develop.
The bodies of athletes consist of 130 separately animated elements. The appearance of the hips, knees, elbows and neck of individual players has improved, while the base of basic silhouettes (used to create the majority of players) has been expanded from three to nine variants. Some players, such as Abidal, Walcott and Peter Crouch, have also found separate models dedicated only to them.
The game allows you to choose from three levels of the length of the ghettos, and during the game in winter weather, in addition to properly selected shirts and shorts, the players also wear an additional pair of knights. In addition, the detail of the players' faces has been improved and new "gladdles" have been added. In the audio layer, for the first time, the viewers were provided with the possibility to import their own songs to the game, as well as to pin music to the team's exit to the pitch or to the joy of scoring a goal.
Like 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, FIFA 11 is user-friendly for beginners. The game allows you to hold meetings with just two buttons - a shot and a pass. The product also offers gameplay modes known from previous editions - league, career option (combining managerial variant and Become a Star) and matches on the web.
