TV Giant (in Germany the game is known as Prime Time) is an economic strategy, which is another position, dealing with establishing a specific company and gaining a monopoly in a given sphere of business. This time the developers decided to enter the world of television - the user, starting as a young entrepreneur, gets a chance to become a magnate of this industry.
When starting the game, the player has to take care to hire qualified staff to prepare a complete programme and ensure that there are no gaps in the programme. There is also an opportunity to release those who do not fulfil their duties. However, we should not stop there - we should not regret the money spent on staff training, which allows them to create high quality films and series.
To build your own television empire you have the opportunity to use twenty professionally equipped rooms. These include a recording studio, a film set and an archive with all the broadcasted programmes. In addition, ten buildings in the three-dimensional city have been made available and can also be used. Going to an advertising agency increases the chances of finding customers, and visiting a bank makes the appropriate monetary operations.
Thirty social groups with differing expectations of the programmes on offer have been made potential audiences. Their opinions and preferences are learned through regular surveys, and as a result you have the opportunity to emit the right things at the right time. You have to be very vigilant, because four competing stations are not asleep and try to outperform the player's offer at any price.
Many financial matters also fall on the user's head. Often you can see that the easiest thing to do is not to look for companies that would like to place their advertisement on the air and agree to the proposed conditions. However, it turns out to be more difficult to keep the finances of the station at a level that covers all the costs and earn a little more. In the worst-case scenario, you can take out credit, although this is not a good solution in the long run.
Manufacturers have proposed an easy to use point&click interface and a relatively clear menu with conveniently arranged options. All this allows you to quickly find out about the current situation and take appropriate action.
