Archie was lying on the couch like every day and looked at the TV screen with a gloomy eye. Fatigue resulting from watching boring programmes was slowly becoming apparent. Suddenly, however, something happened that overcame the involuntary falling asleep. A beautiful woman appeared on the screen, who immediately liked Archiem. Thinking little, our hero jumped into a sports car and rushed to the headquarters of Mad TV. However, before he managed to reach the top floor of the office building, where Betty's room was located, he bumped into the illumined owner of the station. When he saw Archi, he offered him a job almost immediately and in this way a passive viewer became a television producer.
There is no need to convince anybody that television, even the simplest person under the sun, can make a star. It is enough to follow the Polish commercial stations in real time to see how the albums and the people who have nothing to offer suddenly grow to the rank of a legend. The story of Archi, the protagonist of Mad TV coincides with this vision. The only difference is that the young man will take on a more unrewarding role - the management of the station's programme layout.
The player who accepts the challenge posed by the authors of Mad TV will have their hands full of work. Programming, buying films, deciding on news from news services, broadcasting commercials - that's just a small part of what the program offers. The player's task is to create a TV giant from a declining station and thus defeat two competitors. The success of the game is also reflected in the relationship with Betty. If our actions start to bring concrete results, the alluring blonde will appreciate it and give her heart to Archie. However, it is not that simple. Continuous problems with a limited budget, the need to maintain a high viewing rate and an attempt to get money from advertisers can be a real challenge even for an expert in the field of economic games.
Mad TV is a brilliant game and undoubtedly, an absolute classic of computer entertainment on the PC. Everything here is refined in the smallest details, from the substantive content, through the intuitive interface, to the excellent audiovisual setting.
