The player enters a fantasy universe in which a great war between the Heavens and the Underworld took place 1000 years ago. The peaceful lives of Underworld demons have been interrupted by the appearance of Trillion – the legendary god of destruction whose objective is to begin the apocalypse.

Trillion: God of Destruction for PC and PSV is a game developed by Compile Heart, a Japanese studio known for series such as Hyperdimension Neptunia, Record of Agarest War Zero or Mugen Souls Z. The title is the first entry in Makai Ichiban Kan, a new project associating various separate games.

Plot

The story told in Trillion: God of Destruction begins 1000 years after a great war with Heavens. During the times of peace, the demons of Underworld honored the pact and had lived peaceful lives. One day, a legendary god of destruction, Trillion, appears, intending to destroy the world. First, he defeats the Underworld army, and then the great king of demons – Zeabolos. However, Zeabolos returns to life thanks to Faust, a woman who bestows Soul Grimoire’s power upon him. Supported by other demon lords (Luche, Levia, Fegor, Mammon, PerPell, and Ashmedia), Zeabolos embarks on a journey to face powerful Trillion for the second time.

Mechanics

Trillion: God of Destruction for PC and PSV is a jRPG in which we take control over aforementioned demons that have transformed into women for the duration of the journey. The characters have various skills that are developed during the gameplay. Training takes place when Trillion is asleep, and is presented in form of special tasks with a time limit. The gameplay itself is a mix of a typical jRPG and a rougelike.
