Train Yard Builder PC

Train Yard Builder is a simulation game that allows us to create our own railway model from scratch. The game was developed by the Polish studio GameFormatic, while its release was handled by Frozen Way and PlayWay companies.

Mechanics

In Train Yard Builder, we watch the action from the first-person perspective (FPP). The pillar of the gameplay is working on constructing and then improving our own railway model.

We lay train tracks and meticulously arrange various elements of the environment - from roads crossing our line, through buildings, to small objects like city lamps. Moreover, there is nothing to prevent us from leading a river through the miniature map or enriching the model with vegetation, using objects like trees and shrubs.

We can also set up bridges and viaducts. The game also provides us with various switches and activators, allowing for the creation of more complex projects, including turnouts.

The culmination of the work is the purchase of a miniature train and allowing it to travel along the route we have marked out. The game offers models of both European and Asian trains, the individual elements of which we can repaint and freely combine with each other.

As we progress, we acquire new parts for our model, and also sell those that we do not need. We can also take care of the interior design of the house, making room for larger and larger models, painting the walls in a selected color or purchasing new furniture. All this to achieve the best possible visual effect both on the miniature railway track and around it.
