Train Yard Builder

Train Yard Builder is a simulation game that allows us to create our own railway model from scratch. The game was developed by the Polish studio GameFormatic, while its release was handled by Frozen Way and PlayWay companies.

Mechanics

In Train Yard Builder, we watch the action from the first-person perspective (FPP). The pillar of the gameplay is working on constructing and then improving our own railway model.

We lay train tracks and meticulously arrange various elements of the environment - from roads crossing our line, through buildings, to small objects like city lamps. Moreover, there is nothing to prevent us from leading a river through the miniature map or enriching the model with vegetation, using objects like trees and shrubs.

We can also set up bridges and viaducts. The game also provides us with various switches and activators, allowing for the creation of more complex projects, including turnouts.
