Mechanics

The game mechanics and gameplay rules in Train Simulator 2022 do not differ from the previous installments of the series. Players assume the role of a train driver and take control over one of the available locomotives. The aim of the game is to drive the train along a set route and fit it into the schedule. At the same time, you have to pay attention to speed limits and traffic lights. You must also adapt to the weather conditions. This is because they affect the performance of the machine.

Most actions carried out in the title are awarded points (positive or negative), which define how well the player has done. However, if the train set is derailed or runs a red light, the scenario will automatically end in failure.
