Mechanics
Train Life: A Railway Simulator offers two gameplay sections. In the first one the player becomes the manager of his own company specialising in railway transport. His tasks include hiring employees, purchasing vehicles, launching new routes and planning timetables to meet the flow of passengers. He must also look after the technical condition of his trains. All this while maintaining financial liquidity.
The second section, on the other hand, allows you to take on the role of an engine driver and drive trains on European routes. The game focuses on realism. The player must pay attention to speed limits, signs and signals. It is also necessary to stop the train so that it fits within the edge of the platform. Additionally, each machine has its own unique parameters, which influence the speed of acceleration and braking distance.
Additionally, Train Life: A Railway Simulator has a system of variable weather and random events. During the ride, players may encounter, among other things, fallen trees on the tracks.
