Tower Factory Description
Tower Factory is a representative of tower defense strategy genre, distinguished by the automation of resource production using conveyor belts. It was developed by the Spanish independent creator Gius Caminiti.
Plot
The game takes us to a fantasy world where we build a factory to ensure the defense of our fortress against hordes of enemies. Threats come in the form of agarics, flies, and crab-like monsters. It is also our task to destroy the enemy castle. Tower Factory does not offer an extensive story content, focusing on strategic gameplay.
Gameplay
We start in Tower Factory by building a factory from scratch. Once this is done we gather and process resources (such as wood and stone) needed to build increasingly better towers. We can rely on automatic sawmills, quarries and, above all, belt conveyors. By exploring the randomly generated map we gain access to more resources, new buildings and improvements over time. We use lit fires to clear the fog in search of the enemy's castle, treasures, and a place to expand.
We are hindered by the approaching waves of monsters (especially at night). We must defend ourselves against them by surrounding our headquarters with a number of turrets, featuring hidden spikes, cannons, catapults, large crossbows, or crystals that hit beasts with a beam. Various weapons has various striking power and attack effects. Apart from strategically placing them on the boards, we can also set a priority target for them. Opponents in Tower Factory move along a designated path, which allows for planning an effective fortress defense system.
Regardless of the outcomes of demanding battles, we acquire points that we can invest in improvements for future matches.
Graphics
Tower Factory presents a simple colorful visual setting. We look at the world in isometric view.
