A mobile logic game developed by the Finnish developer Motorious Entertainment. As the title suggests, the game is based on the popular TV show – Top Gear, aired by BBC Britain. In Top Gear: Road Trip, the player gets to travel across Great Britain, France, Italy, and other regions of Europe.

Top Gear: Road Trip is mobile puzzle game. The production uses a free to play model with microtransactions and was developed by Finnish studio Motorious Entertainment. As the title suggests, the project is based on the popular TV show Top Gear, aired on the British BBC.

Mechanics

In the game we go on a journey through the roads of the British Isles, France, Italy and other regions of Europe. Apart from sightseeing and taking part in races, we gather a fleet of cars and fulfill tasks modeled on the challenges of the TV original.

The driving itself is done through mechanics typical for match-3 logic games, i.e. randomly colored symbols are thrown on the board, and our task is to manipulate them in order to create combinations of at least three pieces of the same type. The types of these strings and their length influence the movements of the car. Events are observed from the cockpit, so we have to control what is happening on the road all the time and react to it properly, adjusting the symbols according to the situation during the race.

Each route can be completed many times, beating our own records and those achieved by the rest of the community.
