Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon (2010) Description
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon is another installment in a famous game series, in which you take control over members of “Ghosts” squad, and together with fellow soldiers take part in military operations. The game was designed by Ubisoft Studio, who had created a number of previous editions of the series. This, however, is the first one released on Wii.
The main protagonists are Hibbard and Booth, the two-man “Ghosts” squad, who gets “stuck” in Moscow after being separated from the rest of their team. They have to fight their way through the city streets full of enemy soldiers. In order to successfully get to their destination they use advanced weaponry and their extraordinary skills.
There are 12 missions in total – some are focused mainly on heavy combat, others require discretion and tactical approach. Moscow is not the only location in the game, as you also visit a small town in Norway and other places – there is a wide variety of locations.
The developers saw to it that gameplay was satisfying for both casual players as well as advanced veterans. This way, just about everyone can take on a role of a special task force soldier and fight against overwhelming opponents. The immersion is further increased by motion control system, which offers increased aiming precision.
A large role is played by cooperation mode. Here, two people can play together in split screen. Your friend can jump into the game or leave it at any given moment – in the latter case, his character is taken over by AI. Players’ scores are saved in online ranks.
