Tokyo Xtreme Racer DRIFT 2 is another part of a fairly extensive series of car races and a direct development of the ideas presented in the first edition of the TXR DRIFT mini-series. Again, we have the opportunity to drive a large number of carts from various stables, developing on simple exorbitant speeds, smoking tires on sharp corners, etc.

Again, we have the opportunity to drive a large number of carts from various stables, developing on simple exorbitant speeds, smoking tires on sharp corners, etc.

Developers have prepared for us nearly two hundred diversified four-wheelers, which are faithful representations of real machines (the list of brands includes, among others, Subaru, Nissan and Toyota). We can race on both closed and open tracks - among the available locations (mainly Japanese mountain areas) there are not only places covered with smooth asphalt, but also typical rally sections with gravel surface. Even changing weather conditions have been taken care of, significantly affecting, for example, grip and visibility.

Each of the available cars is susceptible to visual and mechanical tuning. The latter, of course, determines the performance of a given car, although some knowledge is required in the subject matter - only thanks to it we are able to properly match the machine to a specific race, our own skills, etc. Both the purchase of new cars and their tuning are made thanks to the money earned in races. The single player mode is perfectly complemented by the option of a two-player game based on a split screen.
