Tied Together is a two-dimensional platform game designed for co-op mode. The players take on the role of a bizarre monster created by scientists and complete extensive levels. The game, created by Napalmtree, is characterized by simple but demanding gameplay and graphic minimalism. The publisher of the title is Headup Games (Grimmwood, Darkest Dungeon).
Plot
One day a group of scientists created four small monsters. Why? Of course to test their cooperation skills! They tied them together into a tiny monstrous chain and allowed them to pass through colorful, difficult, experimental levels, which could only be born in the mind of a scientist.
Mechanics
Tied Together is a platform game, in which the players play as funny monsters (there are four available - Taz, Izzy, Eppo and Dabber) and cooperate to complete extensive levels (there are several dozen of them). The main feature of the title is the fact that all characters are connected by rope - this means that the actions of one player may have an immediate impact on the situation of the others.
It is worth noting, the time in which we beat individual levels is measured and evaluated - after completing the level we get a bronze, silver or gold badge.
Game modes
Tied Together is a multiplayer game, featuring two and four-person mode: Duo Mode or Party Mode.
Technical aspects
Tied Together has a very colorful, two-dimensional visual design. The graphics are characterized by minimalism, which makes everything clearly visible and thus fits well with the gameplay envisaged by the devs.
