The Stalin Subway: Red Veil is a creative development of an extremely interesting FPS shooting experience. Red Veil takes place in Soviet Russia a few years after the events known from the original, but this time we no longer direct the fate of Lieutenant of the Ministry of State Security (MGB) - Gleb Suvorov. Heroic officer of Soviet security in unexplained circumstances disappeared, probably dead. The central figure is his wife, Lena, who wants to know the truth at all costs and save her partner. The nightmare began shortly after Stalin's death, when the country was in chaos, and a group of influential usurpers fought to secure full and exclusive power over the Soviet Union.
Sequel The Stalin Subway, like its predecessor, abounds in surprising twists and turns and realistic and refined locations. The leitmotif of the Red Veil is Moscow from the 1950s - the graphic artists focused primarily on an extremely faithful visualization of the realities and atmosphere that prevailed in the capital of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Using numerous photographs and exhibits from that period, the authors put a lot of time and effort to make subsequent maps look suggestive and convincing, creating an unusual atmosphere, so unusual in games of this type. The flagship and most accurately reproduced architectural object is, of course, Red Square, which we get acquainted with quite well through the main character - the action of the game often gives us an opportunity to do so.
The gutters available to the player were reproduced with equal care, almost one hundred percent consistent with the realities of the time - the player had at his disposal, among others, an incendiary bottle, known more broadly as the Molotov cocktail. Lovers of virtual murdering of friends via the Internet - both local and global (Internet) - were not forgotten either. Of course, all deathmatch maps have been equipped with various 'Moscow' gadgets, sustaining the climatic (communist?) atmosphere of the single.
