The third official expansion to the humoristic life simulator The Sims. In the base game the player takes care of virtual characters: he organizes their time, helps them develop their talents and takes care of the decoration of their houses. This time the developers from Maxis focused on expanding the male-female relations.

It is the third expansion to The Sims - a virtual life simulation designed by the Maxis Company. It allows the Sims to feel completely new sensations associated with love time and dating. There are new faces, interests, romantic objects and a completely new area of game’s action - the Old Town, which is filled with restaurants, shops and parks. What is more, the expansion introduces more than 100 new objects including a picnic basket, romantic bed or sexy bathtub - all those items will help the Sims to make a romantic atmosphere.

The Sims: Hot Date allows the player to become a matchmaker for the Sims. The players will be able to arrange a date for the Sims or try luck at computer matrimony office. Everything is possible - starting from the candle-lit dinner, drinking at the bar, to a date in the park. As soon as the Sims will go for a walk with someone special, around the Sims will start to happen some interesting things and events, so there is even possible to have a small flirtation with accidentally met stranger.
