The first paid DLC for the 2014 game The Sims 4 by Maxis. The so-called “game pack” is located half-way between accessory packs, known from the previous installments, and the classic “big” expansions. The most important aspect of Outdoor Retreat is the new mountainous location called Granite Falls. It's an clean place, where the tired Sims can find respite from the problems of their daily lives.

The Sims 4: Outdoor Retreat Description
Outdoor Retreat is the first paid add-on for The Sims 4. It is also the first “gameplay pack”, being a middle ground between accessory packs, which the previous game received, and the classic big expansions. Just like in the original game, the add-on was developed by Maxis.
The most important element of Outdoor Retreat is a new location called Granite Cascades. We’re dealing with a place untouched by the humankind where the Sims run away from their day-to-day routine, especially when they’re very tired. The player gets to perform many previously unavailable activities, such as camping, horseshoe throwing, roasting sausages over a fire or gathering herbs (which involves a skill). There is no shortage of other bonuses, such as a bear costume and NPC using it (which bugs the Sims), as well as the mascot of the horned rabbit, Stanley.
