Mechanics

In The Ranchers the action is shown from a top-down view. The game gives us a vast open world. We start the game from buying a small piece of land and getting the resources necessary to produce the basic equipment, put up a tent and cultivate a small field. Selling the acquired resources at a profit, we gain the funds necessary to develop our business. With time, we can produce more and more advanced items, build a house and then expand it (or build a completely new one), buy land to cultivate new plants, construct farm buildings and purchase animals or finally buy cars, motorcycles and vehicles useful for work in the field. Apart from that, you can use wind turbines and solar panels on your farm and dig a well to sell the energy or water obtained this way to your neighbors. The province is inhabited by various characters with whom we establish various relationships. Nothing stands in the way of trying to find your soul mate among them.

With time, both our business and the hero himself develops and acquires new skills. These skills can be useful at work or in our free time, which we use to fish, learn to cook, hunt, take part in various events or explore the mysteries of the game world. On the vast map we can find shipwrecks, deserted islands, vast mines and other undergrounds or huge ruins. We can find there not only environmental puzzles, but also monsters waiting to be defeated, and even powerful bosses. Simple combat system has been implemented in the game, and during dynamic battles we use both cold and firearms. An additional attraction are specially prepared challenges that put our skills to the test.

Game modes

In The Ranchers you can play solo or in co-op mode for up to four people. Additionally, a mobile companion app was developed for this game, which is used to trade with other players.
