The Plan Description
The Plan is an out-of-the-box, small game developed by the independent Krillbite Studio. The game was developed as a side-project during the finalisation of a much bigger game, namely Among the Sleep.
Mechanics
The Plan is a side-scroller. During the game, we take control over the fly that tries to escape from the dark forest and check what awaits it above the trees. During its metaphorical journey, the insect slowly lifts up, avoiding obstacles encountered along the way, such as branches, falling leaves or cobwebs. After falling into one of the cobwebs, it must free itself quickly before it falls victim to a hungry spider.
The game is designed in such a way that it can be completed in a break from other activities, so it only takes ten minutes until the game is finished.
Technical aspects
The graphic design of The Plan reminds of the graphics from the cult Limbo. The game world is kept in dark colours, objects bring to mind shadows, and backgrounds are blurred. The gameplay is accompanied by a calm, ambient soundtrack.
