The Night is Gray is a point-and-click thriller adventure game. It was developed by an indie studio Whalestork Interactive.
Plot
The protagonist of The Night is Grey is Graham, stuck in a dark forest full of bizarre wolves. While trying to escape, he ends up in an abandoned house, where he finds a little girl. He must not only survive, but keep her safe as well.
Mechanics
The Night is Gray makes use of cinematic camera angles. The player gets to explore many atmospheric areas, such as dark forest paths, building interiors, an observation tower and dark dungeons. We'll mostly solve various puzzles, manipulating parts of the environment and using specific objects in specific ways. Occasionally, Graham and the little girl must also hide from numerous threats, such as the wolves.
Technical aspects
The Night is Gray features colorful, cartoonish graphics. The characters, animations and locations are all hand-drawn. The orchestral soundtrack helps build the atmosphere.
