The Legend of Candlewind: Nights & Candles is a dungeon crawler developed by Atmosphere Entertainment. The game takes us to a fantasy world overrun by the forces of evil. A group of heroes that sets on a journey to find a powerful artifact is the world's last hope. It will require them to get to the lowest level of a dangerous dungeon located beneath the mountains.

Plot
The game takes in the town of Candlewind that is the center of the plot prepared by the forces of evil. Soon their plan will be done, leading to the fall of the entire kingdom. As the last resort, the town council hires a group of fearless heroes and gives them a task of finding an ancient artifact that can stop the invasion of evil. Unfortunately, that artifact is located on the last level of a dangerous dungeon located beneath the mountains.
Mechanics
In terms of gameplay, The Legend of Candlewind: Nights & Candles for PC is not that different from the classic dungeon crawlers like Dungeon Master and Eye of Beholder: we lead a party of heroes fighting with forces of evil. We will spend most of our time on exploration of dungeons, combat, collecting treasures, and avoiding traps. Combat takes place real-time and is presented from the first-person perspective. As we progress, our heroes level up and gain access to skills and abilities.
Technical Aspects
The Legend of Candlewind: Nights & Candles for PC uses modern technology to recreate the style of old dungeon crawling games. Game engine generates a 3D environment, but we can only move in leaps and make 90-degree turns.
