The Killing Antidote PC

The Killing Antidote is a shooter with survival horror elements, clearly modeled primarily on the Resident Evil series. The production was developed by the independent Chinese team MetalStar Studio, while its creation was possible, among other things, thanks to financial support from the community.

The plot of

The Killing Antidote takes us to a world doomed to destruction. This is because it has been taken over by a mysterious germ that causes various mutations in people, turning them into bloodthirsty monsters. During the course of the game we play as a journalist named Jodi, who decides to get to the source of the plague, while trying to find an antidote for the disease, shrouded in legend.

Gameplay

In The Killing Antidote, the action is viewed from a third-person perspective (TPP). At first glance, the described title does not differ too much from what we are accustomed to by a number of other survival horror games. During the gameplay we traverse locations bathed in darkness and solve various puzzles, gradually pushing the story forward.

Along the way we face hoards of enemies, eliminating them with firearms or white weapons. It's worth keeping an eye out for any resources (randomly selected), as well as being cautious about your steps; whenever possible, you should sneak around and silently eliminate adversaries.

But it doesn't end there, as the described production stands out from other representatives of the genre due to the rich possibilities related to the protagonist's disguise. We have at our disposal a number of hairstyles, make-up versions and closet items, with the help of which we can customize Jodi's appearance to individual preferences.

Game modes

The Killing Antidote allows you to play alone only. In addition to the story mode, there are a number of other gameplay variants, such as a module with roguelike elements, in which we travel through procedurally generated locations.

Engine

The Killing Antidote runs on the Unreal Engine.
