The Incredible Machine 2 is the second part of a logical game released in 1993, in which the essence of the game is to construct various crazy mechanisms and machines. Unlike the first installment of the cycle, created by Dynamix, the sequel is due to the internal development team of Sierra On-Line. The creators prepared 87 boards - logical puzzles, as well as a fully functional editor, allowing to build more.

The Incredible Machine received such positive reviews that shortly after its release, the main originator of the project, Jeffrey Tunnell, decided to face the topic again and publish the official continuation of the game. At first glance it can be seen that the authors have put much more effort into the visual setting. The vivid and colourful colours distanced the prototype, which is a bit sterile in this respect. Everything is nicer, from the menu, through the interface, to the "machine" and its elements. However, the main concept of the game has not changed. We perform specific tasks by placing various elements on the board. Then we start the "machine" and check whether the goal has been achieved. If not, we are making the necessary amendments and so on. As the authors have given up the point system, we don't have to rush, each hand can be repeated many times. All parts of the machine are live transferred from the first part, but there are also a dozen or so new parts. Their operation is best checked in a well-prepared tutorial, compared to the first part of the game, much expanded. The remaining leveles have been divided into four difficulty levels, in total there are 116 of them all. If someone is not enough, they can design their own hands using the built-in editor.
