A classic point-n-click adventure game set in the same postapocalyptic universe as cRPG The Fall: Last Days of Gaia. The game consists in exploring the location, collecting objects, conducting conversations and solving riddles.
The Fall: Mutant City is a classic adventure game set in a postapocalyptic vision of the future known from The Fall: Last Days of Gaia cRPG released in 2004.
The game takes us back to a world destroyed by a terrorist act, during which machines producing huge amounts of CO2 were sent into the atmosphere of the Earth. This caused an ecological catastrophe and the death of most of the planet's population. The Fall: Mutant City starts many years after this event, when the survivors of humanity are trying to rebuild our civilization. We play the role of a man infected with a deadly virus. His only chance to survive is to go in search of a cure to the nest of mutants.
The Fall: Mutant City is a classic point-n-click adventure, so we spend most of our time searching locations, collecting items, conducting conversations and solving puzzles. However, the authors have not forgotten to introduce some interesting ideas, such as changing day and night cycles and dynamic puzzles, which can be solved in many ways.
The game offers two-dimensional backgrounds full of details, on which three-dimensional characters move. Graphics has a slightly cartoon style, but at the same time it is characterized by a gloomy atmosphere and considerable realism.
