An arcade game filled to the brim with absurd, developed by the creators of equally crazy Pizza vs. Skeletons. The Executive combines many genres, like endless runner, platformer, music game, classic beat'em up and even economic strategy titles. We play as the titular executive of a mining corporation that was attacked by werewolves and other monsters. Our task is to stop the invasion on our company while also making sure that it will prosper.

The Executive is an original arcade game released on mobile devices with iOS and AND system, a combination of runner, platformer, rhythmic game, classic "walking" fight and.... economic strategy. The title was created by two-person studio Riverman Media, the authors of the equally twisted production Pizza vs. Skeletons.

In the game we play the role of the president of a mining corporation, which one day was attacked by werewolves and other monsters. The player's task as a responsible boss is, of course, to save the company and its employees from an unusual invasion. However, our role is much more serious than we think, because monsters threaten not only our company but also the whole city.

The gameplay combines elements of many game genres. During the game, we travel through successive locations in a way resembling typical platformers, overcoming various obstacles by making specific gestures at the right moment, and the more precise we do this, the more points will be credited to the account. This is not all, however, because on our way we will also see quite original opponents, such as werewolves in suits, overgrown boars in t-shirts and jeans, or bat dresses dressed in bats. When confronted with enemies, the mechanics of the game changes and touching the appropriate part of the screen results in the execution of a specific attack or block.

For the cash gained in the course of the game, we can gradually develop our hero, buying another special skills, which will allow us to deal more efficiently with the next challenges. The absurdity of the game is complemented by the fact that during the breaks between fights we cannot forget about our basic duties of the president. We regularly monitor the financial and revenue situation of our company, making various strategic decisions, such as investing in certain aspects of our business or hiring additional staff.

The Executive was realized in an interesting graphic style, as original as the concept of the game itself. During the game we watch hand drawn, two-dimensional scenes and animated characters like in Monty Python's intermittent films. On iOS and AND devices, the game belongs to the Premium category, so that no advertising or micropayments interfere with the game after the purchase.
