The Elder Scrolls Online: Lost Depths Description
Lost Depths is a small expansion to the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, the third in the Legacy of the Bretons plotline. As usual, the developer and publisher is ZeniMax Online Studios.
Plot
This expansion is a continuation of the events from the previous Legacy of the Bretons DLCs, as well as an introduction to the final expansion of this plotline - The Elder Scrolls Online: Firesong.
The journey through the dangerous Abecean Sea ends with you being shipwrecked, ending up on an island. There you can help another survivor, Dhulef, an explorer from the Mages Guild, to search for information regarding the legendary Druid King and his journey to Systres. During this journey the player discovers a massive dwarven complex and lost technology, letting you traverse the ocean floor.
You'll also help the druid Laurel protect the Earthen Root Enclave, once a place of refuge for all the druids of the Systres Archipelago, unexpectedly attacked by the cruel Firesong Circle led by the Archdruid Devyrik. The player must protect the relics of this sacred site and prevent the threat from spreading in Tamriel.
Mechanics
The expansion introduces two PvE quests (Dungeons) for four players - Graven Deep and Earthen Root Enclave - with new plotlines, characters, enemies and bosses. Each dungeon contains unique items, including weapons and armor with similarly unique set bonuses. These new areas are located on the High Isle, a new region added in the expansion.
Technical aspects
The expansion is not standalone and requires the base version of the game.
