Although Princess Sabrina was finally saved by a fearless daredevil, the problems of the royal family did not end. The evil vampire Dracul returned with vengeance and began a new reign of terror in the Transylvanian land. The dangerous essence of the crimson crown, which was insidiously stolen after the death of the benevolent King John, is to help make the plans come true. Of course, the question of its recovery will fall on your shoulders as long as you launch the second installment of the Transylvania cycle - an adventure game for which Antonio Antiochia and Penguin Software, Inc. are responsible.
The Crimson Crown at first glance is no different from its original. Both visually and mechanically, there are no changes. We are still dealing with a text game, in which all orders are given by typing appropriate keyboard commands (the implemented Comprehend system allows to use more than a thousand words). The only novelty contained in the game reveals itself soon after a few minutes of struggle. Then it turns out that the main character can use the services of members of the royal family, giving them appropriate orders. Among the companions were the characters known from the first part of the cycle: Princess Sabrina and Prince Eryk. The former specializes in casting spells, while the latter is able to use magical items that, according to the law, belong to the heir to the throne.
The Crimson Crown, like the previous product of Penguin Software, Inc. In the 1990s, it was granted the status of freeware. This means that the game can be downloaded and distributed for free.
