The Chronicles of Shakespeare: Romeo & Juliet is a production of Daedalic Entertainment studio addressed to fans of casual adventures. The most famous love story in the history of literature became a source of inspiration for developers.

The plot was set in the 16th century realities. The young William Shakespeare tries to get into the theatre troupe, a test for him is to present a performance that the world has never seen before. He decides that it will be his own, still unfinished art about lovers from Verona.

The player's task is to help Shakespeare complete the work on Romeo and Juliet. This requires a deepening of the presented history and influencing the course of events. The fate of forbidden love is not a foregone conclusion, so the final does not necessarily have to be tragic....

The game is based on puzzles like hidden objects. With more than 30 hand-written pictures, the player has to look harder to find cleverly camouflaged objects. A variety of mini-games and in the form of uncomplicated, logical puzzles.

The Chronicles of Shakespeare audiovisual setting: Romeo & Juliet does not stand out from the quality of workmanship from the quality standards. Two-dimensional graphics are accompanied by simple animations, and the whole aesthetic experience is complemented by atmospheric soundtrack with music from the Renaissance period.
