TFX is a flight simulator made by Digital Image Design developer studio with a supersonic fighter. The player takes on the role of pilot of a fictitious United Nations Air Force military unit and, by sitting in the cockpit of machines such as Eurofighter, F-22 or F-117, takes part in military operations in Colombia, Somalia, Libya, the Balkans and the Falkland Islands.

TFX is the work of Martin Kenwright and the British development studio Digital Image Design. The production was created as a development of ideas from the game F-29 Retaliator, and the source of inspiration for the creators were reflections on a new generation of supersonic fighters.

The main theme of the main campaign (tour of duty) are the activities of fictitious international military aviation services - United Nations Air Force. The player takes on the role of a novice pilot and participates in a series of military operations in Colombia, Somalia, Libya, the Balkans and the Falkland Islands. Individual missions are interwoven with static interludes, illustrating the impact of decisions taken on the development of events in the virtual world.

In addition to the main campaign, TFX also offers the possibility of playing in dexterity, training, simulation, instance (flash points) and command (UN Commander) modes. Players can sit at the controls of three carefully reproduced fighter models - the F22, F117 and Eurofighter. The armament of each machine can also be customized to suit the requirements of the mission and preferred style of play.
