Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants is a beat'em up and a port of a 2017 game created for the arcade. The new edition was developed by Raw Thrills and Cradle Games companies. In the process, it has received additional content, as well as versions intended for PC and consoles.

Plot

The game focuses on the adventures of mutated turtles who fight crime in New York. The heroic foursome - Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo - stand against their old enemy Shredder and his army of criminals. In their struggles, they can count on the help of Master Splinter and their friend April O'Neil.

Gameplay

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants is a dynamic game in which we play the role of one of the famous turtles and cleanse the city streets of criminals. Each of the available heroes uses their own characteristic weapons, as well as unique attacks. During battles, we can call on allies for help (including Metalhead and Leatherhead) who will perform a special strike.

We visit various locations, including Coney Island and Dimension X. We find healing items, exploding barrels and elements of the environment that we can destroy. We traverse some stages in a different way, for example, using levitating boards to move around the sewers.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants also features boss fights. The game offers antagonists well known to fans of the series, such as Bebop, Rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, Krang and Shredder.

Game modes

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants it is possible to play both alone and in cooperation on a shared screen. Following the original from 2017, a total of four players can join the game.

In terms of graphics, the title is inspired by the animated series TMNT: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio. In the game we can hear actors known from the animated tv show, including Seth Green, Sean Astin, Rob Paulsen and Greg Cipes.
