A simple, two-dimensional action game for mobile devices. It was developed by the Polish developer Michal Walaszczyk. In Tap Hero the player assumes the role of a knight who must stay alive for as long as possible. The problem is, the protagonist cannot move. He must keep repelling the enemy forces while standing in one place.

Mechanics
In Tap Hero, we play the role of a knight, who has to stay alive for as long as possible. The task isn't an easy one, because enemies keep coming at us from the left and right and we can't move, jump, etc. We can only swing the sword by tapping a finger on one side of the screen. Although Tap Hero has very simple rules, in practice the game doesn't forgive mistakes. A momentary hesitation or a slight delay in reaction means the death - our character dies after a single slash or arrow. A special bar that fills with each strike helps a lot. Thanks to it, we can use a powerful attack that gets rid of all enemies. During the game, we collect gold, unlock new armor, weapons, and so on. All this affects our results displayed in world rankings.
Technical aspects
Tap Hero has a pleasant 8-bit graphic style with various effects, e.g. a temporary slowdown during some attacks. In addition, the production is quite brutal and the defeated enemies usually turn into a bloody pulp.
