Tank Operations: European Campaign Description
Tank Operations: European Campaign is another popular turn-based strategy game set during World War II. German Linked Dimensions studio is responsible for the production.
In Tank Operations: European Campaign the player has the opportunity to lead the great war campaigns of the Western Front of World War II. Among the 12 available scenarios is the landing of the Allies in Africa, the invasion of southern Italy and the liberation of Paris. You can only play the role of Allied commanders, because Germany is led only by AI.
The game consists in directing troops symbolized by models of units on the board. In all campaigns the player will have at his disposal 50 types of units (e.g. tanks such as Sherman or M3 Lee, as well as planes or ships), which can perform more than 10 different actions. One of the tactical possibilities is to destroy bridges, which makes it difficult for the enemy to defend effectively. The supply system also plays an important role - if the player does not take care of e.g. a constant supply of oil, his tanks will stop in the middle of the offensive.
Tank Operations: European Campaign is simple but at the same time aesthetic and easy to read.
