Great Games That Sold Poorly (at Least Initially)
It's no news that artistic success doesn't have to go hand in hand with commercial one. However, sometimes it's hard to believe that the titles which are successful and popular to this day were complete commercial flops in their first years.

Tales from the Borderlands: A Telltale Games Series Description
Tales from the Borderlands is an adventure game developed by Telltale Games studio, known for such productions as The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, with the cooperation of Gearbox Software. The game is related with the FPP Borderlands shooters series, and the action takes place on a dangerous planet Pandora.
The game takes place after the events of Borderlands 2 and tells the story of two characters - Fiona (professional cheater) and Rhys (employee of powerful corporations). The story presented in the game is demonstrated in an unusual way. Rhys and Fiona tell about the same events from the past, but their relations become inaccurate and contradicted very quickly and the players must deduce themselves what really happened. The game is very funny, and it is very different from The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.
The game play in Tales from the Borderlands is mainly based on making choices, like in previously mentioned games. However, there is one exception - the results of the decisions are usually beneficial for the two shady characters. What is more, the developers also took care of the action games elements. During the adventure, the player is able to find for example shooters sections and places where the characters can use their unique skills. Fiona can argue her opinions very effectively and Rhys uses implants to manipulate electronic systems.
The game has been divided into episodes like the other productions of Telltale Games studio.
